Our Center’s Board
The purpose of this Board shall be to support the SDSU Children’s Center in its mission to provide quality care and education to children, families, students, faculty, and staff of the SDSU community. The Board reviews and approves the annual budget and reviews the findings of the California Department of Education (CDE) childcare audit. The Board may also propose and implement programs that foster family connection and fundraising through its working committees.

The Board meets two times a month during the academic year with informal summer planning meetings scheduled as needed. Parents of the program and SDSU students, are welcome to join the Board, just complete an application.
Duties
The Board shall have the authority to advise and consent regarding:
- Fundraising efforts towards the goals of supporting student staff and center staff and building family and parent connections.
- Policies and operating procedures for the Center.
- General educational goals of the Center.
- Budget requests and budget approval for the Center.
- Review expenditure of all funds under its jurisdiction.
- Be responsible to the A.S. Campus Life Council and the University for research and/or experimental projects carried on at the Center.
Semester Meeting Dates
Meeting are held Fridays at 8 a.m. at the Children’s Center.
